In
2002, The Department of Public Works assigned
IMMS to provide the Health Monitoring System
Comprehensive Services for 3 bridges crossing
The Chaopraya River, which are The Rama I Bridge
(Saphan Bhud), The Pinklao Bridge, and The Taksin
Bridge. |

The
services included the overall visual inspection,
the structural analysis using Finite Element Method
to determine the theoretical parameters, the installation
of sensors at selected locations to monitor the
responses of bridge structural system, the actual
load testing and the preparation of the computer
software to process the data received from the Health
Monitoring System. |
